The Challenge
When XL Associates moved into their new Park Cross Street office and welcomed a third team member, their ambitions outgrew their ageing website. The site loaded slowly, struggled to rank for “quantity surveyors in Leeds,” and offered little room to showcase the care-home, residential, and commercial projects filling their pipeline. They needed an online home that projected their director-led professionalism, matched their growth, and reached the right clients before competitors did.
The Solution
Waywest Design delivered a complete digital overhaul in just eight weeks. We built a custom, lightweight WordPress theme fine-tuned for Core Web Vitals and rewrote every line of on-site copy around strategic keywords such as “quantity surveyors Leeds,” and sector-specific service terms. Meanwhile, a fresh round of headshots captured Jamie, Simon, and newly hired Rory in their element, adding personality and trust to every page. The design subtly references their new city-centre base, while a flexible CMS lets the team publish projects and news.
The Results
The site went live with PageSpeed scores over 95 % and a Seobility audit above 90 %. Load times are sub-two seconds, Core Web Vitals are all green, and early feedback from the directors has been nothing but positive. With Google Analytics hooked up and a LinkedIn launch post ready to roll, XL Associates finally has a digital presence that keeps pace with its growth in Leeds and beyond.
